Every summer, as the plateau thaw gives way to gentle warmth, Flower Lake in Zoige County, nestled within Sichuan Province's Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, awakens into its most spectacular season.

The Songpan Ancient Town, located in Songpan County, Sichuan Province, sits on the eastern edge of the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau at an elevation of approximately 2,850 meters. First established in the Tang Dynasty (618-907), the town became a major hub on the Tea Horse Road. Today, it is a popular tourist attraction steeped in culture.

​In Yan'an's Ganquan county, northwest China's Shaanxi province, where the victory of the Central Red Army's Long March was declared, the traditional tofu industry is helping drive rural revitalization by combining local specialties, cultural heritage and tourism.

In July 1935, the Red Army halted and rested at the Zhuokeji Tusi Manor in Xisuo Village for seven days during the Long March. Today, Barkam City, a region onced held back by Tusi rule, geographical isolation and poverty, is now using its intangible cultural heritage and the opportunities presented by tourism to pursue common prosperity and enhance cultural integration.

Ninety years after the Long March began in Yudu county, Jiangxi province, the historic county is writing a new chapter defined by industrial growth and rural revitalization, as witnessed by international participants of the "Together on the Long March: 90th Anniversary of an Epic Journey" CICG International Communication Project.
