World embraces darkness for 'Earth Hour'

The north gate of the Forbidden City is seen before the 'Earth Hour' in Beijing, capital of China, March 27, 2010. Lots of Chinese cities went in for 'Earth Hour' on Saturday. The 'Earth Hour,' initiated by the World Wild Fund for Nature (WWF) in 2007, calls on families and buildings to turn off the lights for one hour on the last Saturday night of March.
