Located in southwest Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province, Enping City is 180 kilometers from Guangzhou, the capital city of Guangdong Province. Enping is the first and only city in China to possess a Geotherm National Geopark. The Geopark covers 80 square kilometers of land in Naji, Liangxi and Datian towns, as approved by the Ministry of Land and Resources. Enping was the first such site to be named "home to hot springs" in China in 2003, and is rich in geothermal resources.

There are four main spa resorts, including Jinshan Spa Resort, Dingdu Spa Resort, Jinjiang Spa Resort and Wenquan Hot Spring Wonderland. With a temperature ranging from 70℃ to 80℃, the transparent and soothing spring water contains various beneficial minerals including metasillicio acid and fluorine. Didu Spa Resort in Liangxi Town includes a spring-dotted hill surrounded by verdant mountains. At the foot of the hill, there are more than 30 flowing springs with water temperatures reaching up to 73℃.With a total of more than 80 various-shaped spa pools, the resort was rated as the first national AAAAA spa tourist attraction by China Mining Association in 2010.
