Tencent Inc., established in November 1998 by Ma Huateng and Zhang Zhidong, is now the biggest and most diversified Internet company in China. It features the world's largest customer base: 721 million registered users for its instant messaging service –QQ; 552 million social-networking users on Qzone, and 373 million micro-bloggers on t.qq.com. By the end of 2011, the company’s revenue reached a staggering US$4.5 billion, up 45 percent year-on-year.
