From January 2012 to January 2013, archeologists found 66 tombs, including 54 pit tombs, 12 brick-chamber tombs, two horse-and-chariot pits and one horse pit. The tombs are located near Wenfeng Tower in Suizhou City, Hubei Province. A total of 1,027 objects made of bronze, leather, jade and stone have been excavated. Among them, 577 are bronze objects and some are carved with inscriptions with the character "Zeng". Judging by the objects, most tombs from the middle of the Spring and Autumn Period to the middle of the Warring States period could be Zeng Kingdom remains.
