 Widow Qing

Widow Qing is known as the earliest female entrepreneur in ancient China and lived in Bajun. This super-rich woman had a close relationship with China's first emperor Qin Shihuang (259-210 B.C.). She donated heavily to the construction of the Great Wall and provided a large supply of mercury for the building of Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum. She was taken to the imperial palace in her later years and honored with the title "virtuous woman."
