 Liang Ji

Liang Ji was the son of General Liang Shang in the Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220). His sister was the empress of Emperor Shun (115-144). After his father died, Liang became the general, but he was domineering and brutal. Liang was enraged by Emperor Zhi and poisoned him because he called Liang "presumptuous general." Fifty-seven people in his family became officials or married imperial members. All members of his family were killed by Emperor Huan in 159, and a large number of his valuables were confiscated.
