Exposed to heatwaves and unpredictable rainfall, the ecosystems and people of the Central American Dry Corridor are some of the most vulnerable worldwide to climate change.

To address these challenges, this initiative focuses on improving the productivity of entire landscapes, including their biodiversity, in adverse conditions. Additionally, it strives to secure financial support for sustainable rural development that can counter land degradation and poverty.

2030 targets:

100,000 hectares under restoration

5,000 permanent jobs created

1.88 tons of carbon dioxide sequestered
