Tip 2: Earn your just dessert
If you haven't eaten dinner, or at least a small meal beforehand, it's better not to have a dessert on an empty stomach. Anything too sweet could lead to an upset stomach caused by an over secretion of gastric acid. Desserts also aren't suitable for anyone who is serious about following a weight-loss program. If you really can't resist the temptation, nibble on some crackers or nuts before indulging in a dessert.
