Zhaojue Temple

Located five kilometers to the northern suburbs in Chengdu, Zhaojue Temple is an important Buddhist temple in Sichuan Province. The temple was built in the 7th century. Today most of the buildings were the historical relics of Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) and they were carefully renovated in the 1980s. Situated among lush trees, the temple now houses over 200 Buddhist monks and is frequently visited by faithful Buddhists.

Admission fee: 2 yuan

Transportation: take bus No.156, 402, 530, 537 or 539 and get off at Zhaojuesi (Zhaojue Temple).
