Daci Temple

Located in Dacisi Road in the center of Chengdu, Daci Temple is a famous ancient monastery in the city. Originally built in Tang Dynasty (618-907), it is an extraordinary treasure house which collects a variety of sutras, paintings and idols. It has been destroyed and rebuilt several times in history. Now it played an important role in the Buddhist academic exchanges in China, Korea and Japan.

Admission fee: 3 yuan

Opening hours: 08:00-17:30

Transportation: take bus No.3, 4, 58, 81 or 98 and get off at Dacisi (Daci Temple).
