Kunpeng Airlines moves its headquarters to Zhengzhou

Shenzhen Airlines has signed a cooperation agreement with Henan provincial government and Kunpeng Airlines moved its headquarters to Zhengzhou.

Kunpeng Airlines with Shenzhen Airlines as its holding partner, has become the first Chinese regional airline headquartered in Zhengzhou. Opened in September 2007, Kunpeng Airlines chose Xi'an as its first operational base. At present, the company has five CRJ-200 aircraft and is operating more than 20 routes. It aims to add at least ten aircraft a year in the future to have 200 in its fleet and open more than 160 routes with over 900 daily flights throughout the country by 2016.

Meanwhile, Shenzhen Airlines has established a branch company focusing on the main routes in Zhengzhou. Kunpeng Airlines has taken Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport as its main operational base and will share resources and synergy with Shenzhen Airlines.
