China Southern increases surcharges on route to South Korea

China Southern Airlines will increase the surcharge on the South Korea - China route from September 2, 2008.

Following the adjustments to the surcharges for the routes from mainland China to Hong Kong on August 1, 2008, the company will increase the surcharge of a single flight from South Korea to China from the original USD82 to USD98, while that for roundtrip flight will go up from USD164 to USD196 from September 2, 2008.

Meanwhile, on the route between China and South Korea, an infant not occupying a separate seat is not charged the surcharge. The surcharge for the route is calculated by different sectors without excluding limitation of liability and agency commission.
