Liu Duo, model, said, "I've been working hard to achieve the goal. After all, it's a crown awarded to a female model only once a year. So I'm very excited and happy."

Liu also gave her views on Chinese models in comparison to their foreign peers.

Liu duo, model, said, "Compared to foreign models, I think Chinese models have fine skins and delicate facial features. The major trend in world fashion is still European, so we have been learning from them."

Beijing International Fashion Week has been going for eleven years. It's an engine for the booming Chinese fashion industry that serves as an annual forum for fashion professionals from China and around the world.
