Dozens of newly-wed Chinese couples braved the freezing temperatures to say "I do" on Tuesday in one of China's coldest cities Harbin, the capital of Heilongjiang Province in northeastern China.

Temperatures dropped to minus 20 degree Celsius in Harbin, a city located on the edge of Siberia. But it didn't stop twenty-two couples tying the knot with their loved ones in a mass outdoor wedding ceremony.

Wu Yanmei, bride, said, "Although the weather is cold, our hearts are very warm."

Cai Zhe, groom, said, "The pure ice and snow have seen our love. They are the best witnesses to our long-lasting union."
