Xi Jinping proposes stable energy ties with Venezuela

He said both China and Latin American countries are affected by the global financial crisis, but new opportunities for cooperation also emerged.

Chavez said he agreed Xi Jinping's views on bilateral relations. He welcomed his visit and wished Venezuela-China friendship develop further.

At the same day, Xi Jinping also paid tribute to the national tomb of Venezuela.

The Vice president has already visited Mexico, Jamaica and Colombia and will travel on to Brazil and Malta.
