China's special representative for Korean affairs is set to visit South Korea this week for talks, the foreign ministry said in Beijing Tuesday.

Wu Dawei will arrive in Seoul on Thursday for a three-day stay here, during which he will sit down with his South Korean counterpart Wi Sung-lac.

The envoy and his counterparts will discuss his recent three-day visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and its nuclear issues, according to the ministry.
