Lu will focus the two-and-half-minute film on four volunteers and document their efforts to help prepare for the Asian Games, the report says.

The director of "Kekexili: Mountain Patrol" said he was once deeply touched by a volunteer from Guangzhou while filming "Kekexili" in the barren lands of Qinghai Province.

"That girl lived in a tent for three months without computers, a telephone, even vegetables. She only had instant noodles," Lu recalled. "She left me with a very positive impression of Guangzhou volunteers."

The short film is scheduled to reach audiences at the end of this month.
