The fantasy adventure film "Don Quixote" might be Taiwan-based actress Karena Lam's last big screen work.
The first group of photos featuring her in period costume in her film role were released on Tuesday, sina.com reports
Lam plays a young woman named Xiao Yun who was deeply loved by Don Quixote. The role was adopted from Dulcinea, a character in the original "Don Quixote" novel.
Director A Gan highly praised Lam's performance in the film, saying that she fit his expectations of a dream girl.
The film is slated for public release on October 15. In the meantime, some reports have indicated that Lam might leave the entertainment industry now that she has finished making the film.
