Disney has revealed it plans to create two themed hotels.

One will have 800 rooms, and will be based on the animated hit "Toy Story."

The other hotel, to be named the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel, will have 420 rooms.

Various elements of Disney will be part of the accommodations.

In addition, the company has revealed the resort's lakeside Disneytown will include a shopping, dining and entertainment district that covers 46-thousand square meters.

The planned Walt Disney Grand Theater has also been tapped to host the global premiere of a Mandarin version of the Lion King.

Located in Shanghai's Pudong New District, the massive resort is scheduled to open by the end of next year.
