Director Xue Xiaolu teamed up with the film's stars, Tang Wei and Wu Xiubo, at the event.

The director says, the new installment is not a follow-up to the original film and will tell a different story from the first one.

Actor Wu Xiubo also talks about his role in the film.

"Actually I share some similarities with the character I played in the film, for example, we both have a fear of intimate relationship. But the role is more romantic than me. I saw audiences were crying and laughing while watching our 'Finding Mr. Right' films. I think this is the highest praise and honor to our performance."

Continuing to covey elements such as warmth, blessing, alienation, and love, 'Finding Mr. Right: Book of Love' also tells of the origin of love and why humans need love.

Veteran Hong Kong actor Paul Chun and actress Kara Wai also star in the film.

'Monster Hunt' director Raman Hui, popular actress Bai Baihe and Huo Siyan also showed their support for the film at the premiere.

'Finding Mr. Right: Book of Love' opened the ongoing Beijing International Film Festival, and will hit big screens on April 29th.
