Old customs

On this special day, people usually worship the full moon, enjoy the moonlight, go sightseeing on lakes, light lanterns, watch tides, admire the beauty of osmanthus flowers, eat mooncakes and drink osmanthus flower wine. For generations, the must-do activity has been to eat mooncakes.
