Various activities are held in different regions, such as performing the dragon dance in Hong Kong, making pagoda-shaped miniature with bricks and tiles (usually done by children) in east China's Anhui province, burning mini-towers (also made of bricks and tiles by children) in southeast China's Fujian province, worshiping the moon along Shihu Lake in the city of Suzhou, dancing to the moon by the ethnic minorities and so on.
