Shanghai building fire


 

At about 14:15, November 15,A 28-story building at the intersection of Jiaozhou Road and Yuyao Road in Jing'an District, Shanghai caught fire. 58 people were killed and more than 70 people injured in the inferno are being hospitalized.

Chinese captain's detention over Diaoyu Islands dispute


 

Japan detained Chinese captain Zhan Qixiong and his fellow crew of 14 members on September 7 after the trawler they were abroad collided with two Japanese coast guard patrol vessels near the Diaoyu Islands in the East China Sea.
