After finishing an incredible jump at Beijing 2022, Chinese free skier Qi Guangpu finally took his first Olympic gold medal. This was the 31-year-old's fourth time at Olympic Winter Games but the first time as a medal winner, which also crowned him as a new Grand Slam athlete in Freestyle Skiing.

Time is the cruelest gift to athletes. While bringing growth of experience and improvement of skills, years of practice also lead to injuries and decline in physical functions, meanwhile, competitors of the younger generations keep emerging. In the Beijing Olympic Winter Games, there is a group of athletes who are still challenging human limits when most of their peers have retired. They are here not only to win the competition, but also for their belief.
