As the music came to an end, Yuzuru Hanyu remained in the center of the ice with his head and hands raised as the audience applauded. After five seconds, he turned and bowed to all around, seemingly with tears in his eyes and his iconic smile on his face.
2月10日上午，羽生结弦完成了北京冬奥会花样滑冰男单自由滑比赛，以第四名的成绩结束了他的第三次，可能是最后一次冬奥之旅。赛后采访时，他强忍眼泪：“我觉得自己不可能比这样更努力了，可能是没有回报的努力，但我全力以赴去拼了。”
On the morning of Feb. 10, Yuzuru Hanyu completed the Men's Singles Free Skating competition at the Beijing Winter Olympics, ending his third and possibly the last Olympic journey with a fourth-place finish. He forced back his tears in a post-competition interview, "I feel like I can't work harder than this. It might be an effort that went unrewarded, but I went all out for it."
羽生结弦2岁时被诊断患有哮喘，“因为有哮喘，就让竞技变得艰难，我从来不会有这样的想法”，为了克服先天疾病，羽生结弦需要花常人两倍的时间训练，一般选手每天练习20到30次四周跳，羽生结弦则会练习60次。
Hanyu was diagnosed with asthma when he was 2 years old. "I have never thought that the competition is hard for me just because I have asthma." In order to overcome the congenital disease, the skater needs to spend twice as much time on training, which means when other skaters practice the quadruple salchow 20 to 30 times a day, Yuzuru Hanyu has to do it 60 times.
在天赋与努力的加持下，2014年索契冬奥会，19岁的羽生结弦站上领奖台，成为亚洲首位冬奥会男子单人滑冠军。2018年平昌奥运会，羽生结弦克服伤病带来的磨难，再次夺冠，成为66年来第一位蝉联冬奥会男单冠军的花滑选手。平昌冬奥会结束后，羽生结弦被问到未来四年的目标，他回答道：“所有的动力就只剩4A了。”
Blessed by talents and hard work, 19-year-old Yuzuru Hanyu stood on the podium of Sochi 2014 and became the first Asian men's singles figure skater to win an Olympic gold medal. In the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics, Hanyu overcame the injuries and won the championship again, becoming the first man to win back-to-back Olympic figure-skating golds at the Winter Olympics in 66 years. After PyeongChang 2018, Hanyu was asked about his goals for the next four years, and he replied: "The only motivation left for me is the quadruple axel."
