Adjust font size:

The selection through public appraisal of the 7th Golden Statue Award for China Photography was held in Beijing recently. After hard comparison of the pros and cons, five photographers of the PLA won the award.

They are Wang Chuanshun, Sun Jupu and Tian Jieyan, winners of the Creation Award, Liu Tiesheng, winner of the Theory Comment Award, and Xian Yunqiang, winner of the Book Award, of whom, Liu Tiesheng and Wang Chuanshun are reporters of the PLA Daily.

The Golden Statue Award for China Photography represents the top most national individual achievement in the field of photography arts, and is approved by the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the CPC and jointly sponsored by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Chinese Photographers Association.

This year, the PLA outnumbered the previous years in terms of the winners of the award.
