Pensions rise for seniors in Shanghai
Adjust font size:

About 200,000 retirees in suburban Shanghai are expected to receive an increased pension from Friday, the Shanghai Labor and Social Security Bureau said yesterday. Pensions for seniors who retired before the end of last year were raised by 60 yuan (US$7.70) per month on July 1.

Those who have pensions under 162 yuan per month should get an increase of at least 40 yuan a month, the bureau said.
