Thousands of lanterns light the streets before the Lantern Festival along Xianghu Lake in Hangzhou, capital of eastern China's Zhejiang Province on Monday, February 18, 2008.

From Tuesday, other lanterns installed in the city's downtown areas will power on to present a vision with which local residents can celebrate the coming Lantern Festival, which falls on February 21 this year. On the Lantern Festival, Chinese people eat dumplings made from glutinous rice flour and enjoy lantern shows.
