Adjust font size:

British rock band The Cure play at Hong Kong's AsiaWorld Arena on Monday, July 30, 2007.

A mixed bag of local celebrities and alternative rock fans crammed Hong Kong's AsiaWorld Arena with Britain's leading rock band The Cure playing for the first time in Hong Kong on Monday night.

Actor Daniel Wu, who injured his left leg earlier, appeared at the crowded venue in crutches.

Paul Wong, ex-member of Beyond, one of Hong Kong's most influential rock bands, was also present.

With several encores, The Cure retrospected their three-decade-long career with such hits as Let's Go to Bed, The Walk and Boys Don't Cry.

The band are also set to play in Singapore Wednesday night.
