Chinese mainland actor Huang Xiaoming is showing his singing talent in a new metro TV series Qing Tian Ri Ji, or Journals on Sunny Days, which commenced shooting in Shanghai on Sunday.

The Beijing Times reported that in the metro TV series, Huang sings his new song Child of the Wind or Feng de Haizi, which is included into his latest album yet to be released.

The movie, featuring many rising singers such as Wu Sikai and Liao Junjia, tells a story of a girl who writes down what she experienced on the subway every day.

The metro TV series will be screened on televisions of subway lines in Shanghai when finished in December.
