Adjust font size:

Director Kenneth Bi's film The Drummer premiered in Taipei on Thursday. Kenneth Bi and the lead actor Jaycee Chan attended the premiere ceremony.

Jaycee Chan is showing his drumming talent at the premiere of film The Drummer on Oct. 11 in Taipei.

It tells the story of how a young Hong Kong rebel, starring Jaycee Chan, finds inner peace and a sense of purpose with a group of Zen musicians in the hills of Taiwan.

Malaysia-born actress Angelica Lee, Hong Kong actor Tony Leung Ka-fai, and renowned Taiwan performance group U Theatre took part in the film.

Inspired by a performance given by U Theater in Hong Kong several years ago, Kenneth Bi came up with the idea of making a film about how music affects a young rebel.
