Netherlands to Hold Chinese Culture Festival

The Netherlands will hold a Chinese culture festival this October in its capital Amsterdam, visiting Vice-Minister of Culture Medy van der Laan said in Beijing Tuesday afternoon.

The Netherlands and China signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on cultural cooperation on Monday in Beijing, which stressed that the two sides will develop the existing cultural cooperation to their mutual benefit, the official told a press conference in the Netherlands Embassy in Beijing.

The two countries will encourage collaboration between cultural organizations and institutions with the aim of presenting cultural activities in each other country, according to the MOU.
