Party Members Urged to Score Educational Achievements

A senior official with the Communist Party of China (CPC) required Monday the whole Party to work harder still to achieve results following the one-year-and-a half-long Party-wide education program to keep the Party's vanguard nature.

He Guoqiang, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of the central leading group of the program, said that more than 69 million Party members should exert to score achievements in real work, system and theory building after the program concludes.

He urged all Party organizations to address outstanding problems among Party members and of most concern to the public and set up a long-term mechanism to keep the vanguard nature of Party members.

He also called on Party organization departments to study major theoretical issues on maintaining the Party's advanced nature.
