The nation's first clinic to provide preventative medicine has been established at Shuguang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Shanghai. It is a trial under a national project to give health checks and lifestyle advice before people develop serious diseases. About 70 percent of local residents have an unhealthy lifestyle, researchers found recently.
