Argentina: China's growth a huge opportunity for world
Adjust font size:

China's growth offers immense opportunities for the world, Argentine Foreign Minister Jorge Taiana has said.

China's development means immense opportunies for Argentina and the rest of the world, rather than a threat or challenge, Taiana said during a meeting with China's new ambassador Zeng Gang on Tuesday.

Taiana said the Argentine government wishes to see a powerful China and its economic growth, and is ready to consolidate and strengthen the country's relations with China.

The foreign minister said Argentina and China enjoy close cooperation in the political, economic, military and scientific fields and the two countries also share similar positions on issues concerning national sovereignty and territorial integrity and other major international issues.

Zeng arrived in Argentina on October 17.
