Weekly Weather Forecast (August 28 to September 4)

Northwest China: August 28 to 31, northern Xinjiang and eastern areas of the region will have rain or thunder showers with moderate rainfall expected in southeastern parts. September 2 to 3, western and northern Xinjiang and the eastern sections will continue to have rain or thunder showers and lower temperatures.

 

North China: August 28 to 31, most of the region will receive light to moderate rain or thunder showers with heavy rainfall in some central and southern areas. Around September 2 to 3, central and northernmost areas will continue to have rain and thunder storms.  

 

Northeast China: August 28 to 29, easternmost and southern areas will have light to moderate rainfall or thunder showers with heavy rain in some southern regions, while the remaining areas will be cloudy with possibly short periods of rain. August 31 to September 1, central and southern areas will receive rain or thunder showers with heavy rainfall in some of the southern regions. September 2 to 3, most of the region will continue to see light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by low temperatures.

 

Central China: During the week, most of the region will be dry except for frequent showers in northern parts. Affected by high air pressure, central and southern areas will be dominated by sunny to cloudy skies with high temperatures but some areas will have occasional showers.

 

East China: Northern parts will see more rain over the week. During the first half of the week central and southern areas will see sunny to cloudy skies with occasional showers in some parts.  September 1 to 3, southern regions will get rain or thunder showers while the remaining areas will be mainly sunny to cloudy.

 

South China: August 28, western and southern parts will have rain or thunder showers with heavy rain in some areas. August 29 to September 1, some of western and southern areas will have showers while the remainder will be under cloudy skies with high temperatures in northern parts. September 2 to 3, eastern areas and southern coastal regions will have rain, thunder showers and heavy rain in some areas. Northern parts will continue to be dry and hot. 

 

Southwest China: The region will experience more rain within the week. August 28 to September 1, central and eastern Tibet, most of Sichuan, northwestern Chongqing, central and western Guizhou and Yunnan will have light to moderate rain or thunder showers. While eastern and southern Chongqing and eastern Guizhou will continue to have high temperatures. September 2 to 3, eastern Tibet, southern Sichuan and central and southern Yunnan will have rain or thunder showers while the remaining areas of the region will be cloudy to sunny.
