Two foreign tourists and their local driver were killed in a road accident on Wednesday in the tourism city of Livingstone in Zambia, Times of Zambia reported on Thursday.

The two foreigners are identified as a couple from England named Cowell Roberts Albert, 60, and Bielb Cecilia Anne, 66.

Local Police Spokesman Chrispin Kapela said the couple were traveling to tourist attractions in Victoria national park using a hired Toyota Hilux from Bush truck, a tourist operator, when they were rammed into by a South African truck belonging to Cargo Packer.

Three others were seriously injured in the accident and were taken to the Livingstone hospital.
