Heavy Snow Hits Northeast China City
Heavy snow closed Shengyang's Taoxian international airport for over seven hours on Sunday and blanketed the capital of northeast China's Liaoning Province.

The airport, the largest in northeast China, closed at 11:40 Sunday but reopened at around 20:00.

Traffic on expressways to Shenyang, however, has not been affected, with maintenance workers sweeping the roads clear of snow.

The local weather bureau said the snow which began on Saturday night would continue until late on Sunday night.
