New Year Tourists Flock to China's Tourist Destinations
An avalanche of tourists has poured into scenic spots around China during the week-long Spring Festival holiday.

In Sanya, in the southernmost province of Hainan, travelers lined up to parasail over the tropical island, while other visitors preferred the other end of the world as they scuba dived in the clear Hainan waters to play among the bountiful marine life under the sea.

Further north in Shanghai, the Changfeng Aquarium also performed an underwater sport, employees presented an underwater dragon dance to the delight of visitors. Along with the aquarium's other attractions, the show brought in huge crowds. Children at the Fuzhou Oceanarium also learned about sea animals, as they were allowed to touch seal cubs and sea turtles.

And from waters to the mountains, visitors at Huangshan Mountain in Anhui Province beard the cold weather to climb cliffs that were covered in thick layers of show.

Other winter lovers also joined in camel rides and this tug-of-war at the Heilongjiang Ski Compound.
