Mount Huangshan to Lower Ticket Price for Tourists
Mount Huangshan, one of China's five most prestigious mountains, in east China, will lower the price of tickets for tourists until October 31.

According to a source from the Huangshan Tourism Guidance Commission on Friday, the prices of entrance tickets and cable car tickets at scenic sites across Mount Huangshan are expected to cut 30 percent during the period.

Teachers and students would be entitled to a 50 percent drop in the ticket price during the summer holidays after showing identification.

Medical personnel who worked on the front-line battling SARS epidemic will enjoy free admission this year with certificates issued by public health departments at or above the county level.

And reporters, too, will also enjoy free admission.
