The Best of Jade Displayed in Beijing

If imitation is the best form of flattery, then four jade masterpieces belonging to the China Arts & Crafts Gallery have received rare praise indeed. The "Four National Treasures" have been reproduced, and are likely to catch the eye of connoisseurs and collectors.

"Mount Tai" features woods, rivers and pavilions, depicting a panoramic view of the Shandong landmark. "Flower Scene" blooms with peonies, chrysanthemums, plum blossoms and more. Nine dragons frolic over the sea in "Joy of the Ocean". And "Auspicious" reflects the depths of Chinese culture with some mysterious animals.

It's expected that the exquisite reproductions will attract private collectors' interests in future exhibitions.
