China's Olympic Gold medalist and World Champion hurdler Liu Xiang had another unproductive time at this year's Parliamentary sessions in Beijing.


Liu became a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) four years ago.

He missed the 2008 session due to a clash with a world indoor athletics tournament, and only made it for the last two days of the 2009 session. He submitted a proposal for better benefits for sports coaches but, pressured by journalists, he admitted someone else had drawn it up.

At this year's session Liu submitted no proposals.
