The sweet liquor is produced in Shanxi Province, in north China. Bamboo Leaf Green liquor is a kind of Fen liquor that has been further processed with a dozen or more selected Chinese herbal medicines. The herbal supplement not only gives the wine its fragrance, but is also good for one's health. One of the ingredients is fresh and green bamboo leaves, which gives the liquor a yellowish-green color and its name. Its alcohol content ranges between 38 and 46 percent by volume.
