Earning the second-lowest scores in Consumer Reports' performance tests, the midsize Jeep Liberty SUV also garnered below-average marks for customer satisfaction and was noted as having among the worst fuel economy in its class (at 16/22 mpg). While the magazine acknowledged its stalwart off-road abilities, the Liberty received miserable marks for its ride, agility, braking, fit and finish and for having an uncomfortable front seat and too-narrow foot-wells.
