The Confucius Classroom at Taesung Middle and High School is the first Confucius classroom in South Korea. It offers professional Chinese language learning classes to dozens of kindergartens, primary schools and junior and senior high schools in Yongin City and Namyangju City. In addition, it also provides a lot of cultural experience activities. In 2011, it started 22 courses and attracted 1,599 students. Moreover, it has hosted 39 activities, covering many different themes, which have attracted over 8,000 participants.

Confucius Classroom at Fayette County Public Schools is one of the 'Top 30 Confucius Institutes in 2011' by China.org.cn

Although it launched in 2010, it has established a mature teaching system, featuring immersive and multidisciplinary Chinese language teaching. In 2011, the registered number reached over 3,300, becoming a model project of Chinese language teaching for the American public education system. In addition, the Fayette County Public Schools have made detailed plans for the further development of their Chinese courses in order to be able and offer Chinese courses to more schools, from kindergartens to high schools, by 2014.
