Due to the support of the University of Poitiers, the institution has its own office building. It has plenty of courses on offer. Especially the distance-learning courses on Chinese language, in collaboration with the France National Centre for Distance Education, are extremely popular. What's more, it has undertaken the work of editing the Chinese-French bilingual version of the Confucius Institute Multilingual Journal Series, which is read by many statesmen and celebrities, including the UN Under-Secretary-General, World Bank Vice President, and the Chairman of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization.
