Tip 6: Peanut butter - but go easy!

Peanut butter also provides a good balance of protein and complex carbohydrates, especially if eaten with wholegrain crackers. Try to go for a brand that is both sugar and transfatty acid free. But be sparing with your spreading, as peanut butter is relatively higher in calories.
