China folk art treasure spotlighted

After one year, the Museum of China's Folk Art Treasure will soon open its second annual art festival. It will showcase the treasure of China's folk art.

The exhibition will show the best of the best of China's folk art and crafts. It will display the distinctive art of the Tibetan Buddhists. Among them are 8 pieces of Tangka collected by Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dyasnty.

It will present the jade ware of the famous Hongshan culture, one of the most important in the prehistory of northern China. The exhibits have been collected from overseas for more than 80 years by three generations of 106 Taiwan collectors.

It will also showcase the masterpieces of China's most famous folk artists, including the most renowned artists from the capital, Beijing. The show will also feature a forum which will be focused on the development of China's folk art and crafts.
