 Russian PM Vladimir Putin's China visit

 

President Hu Jintao met Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin Wednesday in Beijing to exchange views on the development of the strategic relations of cooperation and partnership between China and Russia.

President Hu Jintao met Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin Wednesday in Beijing to exchange views on the development of the strategic relations of cooperation and partnership between China and Russia. 

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin paid an official visit to China from Oct. 11 to 12, 2011. Although this visit was a routine annual visit between China and Russia, analysts believed that it held special meanings, as this was Putin's first trip abroad since he announced his plans to return to Russia's presidency. Co-chairing the 16th regular meeting between the two countries' prime ministers along with Putin, Premier Wen Jiabao said the Chinese government was willing to work harder with the Russia to build a comprehensive strategic partnership featuring equality, mutual trust, mutual support and common prosperity between China and Russia. Putin hailed the unprecedented highs that have been reached in political cooperation and cultural exchanges between the two countries.
